- We’ve pioneered many major advancements in the field of hair transplantation during the past 10 years.
- Every Delhi Hair Care physician is required to be actively licensed in the state in which he/she practices, and a member of one or more professional associations.
Hair transplantation, when done right, can be so natural that even your hair stylist will not know that you've had it done.
But the skill and techniques of hair transplant surgeons does vary widely, as do their results. It's important to choose the right procedure and clinic to assure that you will get completely natural results.
The state of art hair transplantation procedure that we recommend is called "Follicular Unit Hair Transplantation".
From a surgical standpoint, Delhi Hair Care's hair transplant surgeries are completely safe. Local anesthesia is administered for a painless surgery. It does not require any intravenous or intra-muscular sedation. The hair transplant surgery is considered to be a minor ambulatory procedure.
Patients are given local anesthesia in the donor and recipient areas. Most patients find that once the anesthesia is given that they feel no pain or discomfort during the surgery. Following surgery patients will typically feel some amount of soreness and numbness, with some mild discomfort. Most patients are pleasantly surprised by how minimal the discomfort from the surgical procedure is.
Sleep with head of the bed elevated or use two to three pillows for one week. Facial fullness, headache and disrupted sleep are very normal postoperative symptoms and will decrease as the healing process occurs. Avoid strenuous activity including bending, lifting or straining for one week after hair restoration surgery. If you have little children, bend at the knees or sit on the floor and let them climb on to your lap.
We recommended that you get a good night's rest, limit smoking and alcohol, and eat a healthy breakfast. You will be asked not to take aspirin for several days prior to your procedure. More detailed instructions will be provided by the physician or medical staff based on our personal medical history.
Yes, women can certainly undergo hair transplant, as long as there is an adequate donor region from which follicular grafts can be harvested. Women experiencing androgenetic alopecia or hair loss caused by scars from accidents, burns or cosmetic procedures often make good candidates for hair transplant surgery. Women can also undergo ‘Eyebrow Hair Transplantation’ to enhance their aesthetic appearance naturally.
